Adam Shoelson, DVM, DACVIM, Internal Medicine

Dr. Adam Shoelson graduated from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University.  Following graduation, he completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Tufts Veterinary Emergency Treatment & Specialties in Walpole, Massachusetts.  Dr. Shoelson then returned to the Cummings School at Tufts to complete a residency in small animal internal medicine.  He is particularly interested in endocrinology, including diabetes, and the management of elderly cats and dogs with multiple diseases.

Dr. Adam Shoelson and his wife have recently moved to Maine.  They are enjoying exploring the area’s numerous outdoor activities and Portland’s lively restaurant scene.  They have two orange cats named Otto and Pepe.  Dr. Shoelson is an avid New England sports fan and enjoys scuba diving and underwater photography.
