Loren Candito, DVM, DACVD, Dermatology

Dr. Loren Candito graduated from Bucknell University with a B.S. in Animal Behavior in 2003. She then graduated from Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Following graduation, she completed a year-long rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Tinton Falls, NJ, and then a specialty Dermatology internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Red Bank, NJ. Following this, she completed a residency in Dermatology at the Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Dr. Loren Candito also became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology in 2013. Dr. Candito has a special interest in canine and feline allergy and autoimmune skin diseases. Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care is thrilled to have Dr. Candito running our Dermatology Department.
