Who we are: Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care is a privately-owned emergency and specialty hospital staffed with 19 board-certified veterinary specialists and experienced emergency clinicians. Specialties include emergency and critical care, surgery, internal medicine, oncology, neurology, ophthalmology, dermatology, cardiology and anesthesiology.
What we’re looking for: A veterinary technician specialist in ECC, licensed veterinary technician, or very experienced veterinary assistant to join our growing emergency team. This full-time evening shift position hours are 2pm to midnight, three weekday evenings and a minimum of one weekend shift. Part-time will also be considered.

We are a state of the art facility with a new technology CT machine, MRI, digital radiology, three surgical suites, in-house IDEXX lab machines, ultrasound, endoscopy, pulse-wave therapy, laser therapy, advanced monitoring equipment and more.
We are looking for a technician with exceptional written and oral communication skills and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, compassionate, and eager to learn new skills. We offer generous shift differentials for evening, weekend and overnight hours.
