Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care is seeking a Surgical Client Coordinator to join our client and patient-focused multidisciplinary emergency and specialty practice. PVESC is one of the largest, privately owned 24/7 hospitals in the northeast and includes the specialties of surgery (5), internal medicine (4), critical care (2), oncology, ophthalmology, cardiology, dermatology, acupuncture/integrative medicine, radiology, and radioactive iodine therapy. The Surgical Client Coordinator is a liaison position in our busy surgical department, helping the surgeons, technicians, surgical client service representatives and clients in many integral ways, such as support with scheduling, client communication, running appointments, and discharging surgeries. This position assists with the daily flow of clients and patients through the department. A knowledge of veterinary medicine and previous experience as a veterinary technician or assistant is required, and strong customer service skills are important. This position is perfect for the experienced veterinary technician who is considering a change of pace. Generous sign on bonus commensurate with experience.
