Medical Emergencies

Sometimes it’s hard to determine whether your pet is experiencing a dire situation. Medical emergencies can range from a lack of appetite to a dramatic collapse. Please don’t hesitate to call if you are worried about your pet. We will help you assess whether it is a true emergency, and then guide you on the next steps. Common medical emergencies at our practice include:

  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Straining or inability to urinate
  • Lethargy
  • Not eating
  • Collapse
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Allergic reactions
  • Seizures
